The Difference
Actually there is a very small difference between the two modalities which then allows them to work together to enhance each other. First let’s explore the basics of acupuncture, this service is done by inserting the small needles into the skin along where the meridian point run.
Acupuncture deals with the health if the chi it is believed that when there is an illness in the body it is caused by a blockage in the bodies energetic field, now Reiki also deals with the chi but is more focused on the actual energetic center there are hundreds even thousands of energy centers that the meridians run through.
But Reiki focuses on the main 7 known as the chakras, both healing modalities work with the bio-field but just different areas of that field.
How Reiki compliments Acupuncture
Reiki, when used with acupuncture, can help to get the client in a very relaxed state. Reiki should be done before the Acupuncture service is given. Because you want the client in a very to relax state. Reiki energy will be stronger and it will enhance the Acupuncture to be more intense and deliver deeper results. They both help each other and I would recommend you getting a Reiki treatment before your Acupuncture session. Either way.
