Regret is a Waste of Mind Space

“Live the moment, and the energy of that moment will spread beyond all boundaries.”  —Cortia Kent

From time to time images of my past flash in front of me like an old movie that has permanently lodged in my memory, and I see things I wish I had done, or said differently. But I have come to understand that regrets take up valuable mind and heart space. Regrets rob us of good energy for today and diminish our worship of the one true and forgiving God.

The truth is, regret is only good for wallowing in. So forget about yesterday, build on grace today, and let the Light in you, that is God, shine. I am so excited! What about you?

  1. Amen and amen. Yesterday is in the tomb, today is in the womb. This is the year to move out of Regret Lane and onto New Season Avenue. Thank God for all He is doing and about to do. An exciting year awaits us. Praise God for His second, third and multiple chances.
